I worked for Jack and Jill's Grocery Store for a little over a year as a cashier. Soon he hired this guy named Roger. Roger was going to be a carry-out and clean up the meat department. Our boss decided to train me to work in that area as well, which was rare since most of the staff in that area were guys. After working together for 6 months, I went into the hospital. He called me a week later, getting my phone number from the boss's office. He told me he loved me over the phone, and we were engaged when we were seniors in school. We were married two years later, and are still married, 21 years later!

Todd and I had been dating for a while. I came over to cook burritos. Bringing groceries with me.

He was acting really funny. I wondered if he was on something kinda funny. He was super happy and super excited. I mean on cloud 9 kinda of funny.

At one point he stepped on my toe and went down to kiss it, shoe and all.

We ate and went to sit on the love seat couch to watch t.v.
He put his arm around me and said, " I want you to be my wife. Will you marry me?" With a ring in his hand. Then, I said, "I'd be honored."
He put my/our engagement ring on.
We called our parents.
Then life went on....

that morning my wife became engaged. Dora worked at a day care and got off around 10 PM. a friend and Dora stopped by around 10:30 PM We went to Arby's because Willma wanted the Christmas glasses. After we ate, I needed to use the restroom. The ladies took my coat and hid in the bushes. I went to the car they can a few minutes later. (very cold). we came back to my house. Dora knew I was mad about their stunt. She was about to leave, I knew if she left that would be the end. I asked her in. We sat in the front room and talked for a couple of hours. around 1:30am, I asked her to be my wife, and her eyes were as big as coffee sauchers. She said yes We became one on April 22,1978. we always held hands even when eating she was left handed and I am right handed. makes it real nice.

My husband proposed to me after being together for 13 years. He was my childhood friend growing up. We started dating in high school. At 16 I had my daughter and at 20 my son. We hardly talked about marriage. After a long day of work I came home to my husband and our kids playing xbox with one of my husband's friends. After a while my husband's friend left and we watched tv for a while . My kids went into their room and called for their dad. Next thing I know my husband is telling me to come check this out. I walk over to the room to find it dark. I switched the light on the find my husband on one knee with the kids next to him and the most beautiful ring. I was completely shocked. I cried and said Yes Of course. My son who was 7 kept telling me it was gonna be ok (Because I was crying.) We got engaged on February 8th 2015 and we got married June 5th of 2015.

Matt and I met in college at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. We had been dating just over 2 years when his career moved him out to Cincinnati, Ohio. After 4 months of long distance Matt was finally able to come home for an entire week. The plan was for me to pick him up from the airport and head straight to brunch with my best friend and her fiancé. As I was heading up the escalator I noticed Matt walking towards me with the biggest smile I had ever seen on his face. After expressing how he couldn't spend another day without me, het got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Both of our families, and my best friend, were all waiting off to the side to celebrate. Everyone was in on it! In the middle of the airport, surrounded by my family, my heart had never been more full.

A passion my husband and I have always had together is fishing in the summer on the airboat on the river every year ...this fishing trip with our friends was one I'll never forget ! It was a regular summer day fishing with friends on the loup river that day for me . I was clueless but all our friends knew n helped distract me when my bf at the time was planning his big moment ...the fish weren't biting that day which was unusual ! My husband always baits my hook for me n occasionally casts the line for me so I don't snag it in the trees . About half way through the day we stopped at another hole to fish while my friends distracted me my husband baited my hook n casts it like usual for me n handed me my pole ...I waited n then I thought I felt a bite so I began to hook and reel what I thought was my first fish of the day , I was thinking finally some action !! As I reeled n reeled I though oh yes I have a good sized fish , but as I pulled up my "fish" I was so confused n puzzled as I stare at a huge fake diamond ring !!?? Still confused I turn to look at everyone like what the heck is this , I look at my husband down on one knee holding a box with a REAL beautiful diamond ring :) I may not have caught any fish that day but I had the catch of my life , an amazing fiancé :) the best fishing trip and catch that I will never forget that was all caught on camera and video by our friends !

My husband of a year proposed to me on our one year anniversary. He took me to the Nebraska State Fair all evening, winning me tons of prizes. I didn't know the Grand Island streets well, so he took back roads to Eagle Scout Lake. There was a thunderstorm approaching in the distant. We laid on the dock, admiring the stars and lightning together. He then got on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I cried the entire rest of the night thinking of how lucky I am.

In December of 2015 my parents, brother and his wife, my nephews, myself and then boyfriend took a Christmas vacation to Walt Disney World in Orlando Flordia. Before we had left, with out my knowledge my then boyfriend Josh, went to my dad and asked for my hand in marriage, along with asking my older brother for my hand in marriage. Together my entire family formed a plan to suprise me with an engagement while on our vacation. They put so much time and work into it, Josh purchasing my dream ring before the trip, my mother getting the ring through airport security and hiding it the rest of the trip until the big day. On the big day I was completely clueless of what was about to happen. Looking back now there were so many clues I completely overlooked. That day my brother took the ring and carried it with him all day, until the perfect moment happened. We were in the Epcot park, we had just ate our dinner, waiting for the fire work show to start above the lake. Again without my knowledge, my brother then gave the ring to my 12 year old nephew, once the fire work show started he handed it to Josh who then looked at me and said "Macie, I have a question for you" as he got down on one knee. I started crying, he then used my full name and asked me to be his wife. I screamed "YES!" My sister-in-law recorded the whole event, my mother took pictures, I was surrounded by those I love most in the world. The crowd around us clapped and awed. It was the most magical time in my life. The firework show sure didn't seem as important then. My favorite part about my engagement wasn't so much the fact of where we were but the fact both my nephews were involved, that my dad and brother were previously asked for my had in marriage and that my mother and sister-in-law captured a memory I'll never forget and most importantly that I now get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend, my soul mate! We will be married this July 2017 and are beyond excited to see what our future holds!!

he told my family he was throwing me a surprise birthday party for my 26th birthday 2 days after and asked them all to come. When they arrived he told them his plan and I was told they squeeled and cried with excitement. My friend and me had plans to go watch her NFL team play that afternoon, so i dug out the one shirt I had for her team and put it on. Right as I was about to leave, she walked in with her daughter, and immediately told me to change. I was confused as to why i needed to dress up and she told me it was just because she was dressed up and didnt want to be the only one. So i obliged and changed. When we got in the car, after she got her daughter strapped in, she told me to turn around and started to wrap her scarf around my eyes so i was blindfolded. Now anyone else might have been tipped off something was off, but it had been a running joke with us for years that it would be fun to kidnap eachother some day. We drove all around for a while and I lost track of where we might be at all. Finally we stopped and she led me inside. When we got inside she took off my blindfold and there was a friend of ours standing there with a rose in hand and told me he was suppose to give that to the prettiest girl in the building. We then proceeded to the party room in back. I didnt see anybody but did see coats on chairs. Then out walks my aunt who lives 2 and a half hours away, with a rose. She gave me a hug and told me she loved me and to read the card. Then other family members from mine and his side walked out with roses, all roses having a date with something we did together since we started dating. The 11th rose was given to me by my parents that had a month befores date and said the day your dad said yes. Then he walked out, rose in hand, handed me the rose but told me not to read it yet. He then told me how much he loves me and how happy I make him. Then i was told i could open the card. He got down on one knee and used my full name and asked me to marry him. The last card said 1/17/16 the day she said " ". I said yes! And then we spent the evening celebrating and spending time with our families.

Zach and I have been together for close to 8 years. Just after year 7 we took a vacation to our favorite place Colorado. We were to leave after I got off work but mother nature had different plans. We were in a huge snowstorm with hardly any visibility. So we decided to wait until morning. I was completely on edge because I was so excited to start our vacation. We met up with one of my lifelong friends and her husband. We had made a ton of plans while we were there including dog sledding, snowmobiling, and skiing. We stayed in the most amazing lodge at the base of the mountain. Our snow mobile tour took us to the top of the continental divide. I was confused as to why my friend took her camera with us. She told me we would have amazing views up at the top. She was right. The view was breathtaking. I was in awe just looking at the mountains. Zach bent down to tie his shoe and me being ornery decided that I should tackle him in the snow. If anyone knows me I have a history of tackling him. The night when our relationship really started I tackled him to the ground and made the first move to give him a kiss. After I tackled him in the snow I got up and was laughing. I look over and he is on the ground on one knee looking at me with a huge smile. He then asked me if I would marry him and spend my life with him. I of course started crying and asking him if he was serious as I hadn't expected it. He had it all planned out and had my friend and her husband in on it. My friend/bridesmaid captured the whole proposal on camera.

I was just relaxing on christmas day and he asked me to go outside cuz he wanted to do something and a friend of area at the time video typed him asking me to marry him and the videos on facebook and after i answered him he grabbed me and pulled me over to him and he gave me a kiss

We had also gotten back from a friends place in another house and he said hes been wanting to ask me for a couple of years now but he was with someone and i was with someone and now he had a chance to ask me beacuse neither one of us was with anybody and ive known him sence late 08 begaining of 09 i do have a pic of us together

We started dateing around before thanksgiving and i was out of state in Arkansas when him and i started dateing and him and i both know that we are ment for eachother because when we both are seprated all we do is go into a depression mode cuz we want to be around eachother and we cnt get eachother off are minds and we are all we can think about he thinks and worrys about me and i think and worry about him

I meet my soon to be husband lester j littlefield threw are beat friend whos passed away his name was dustin bodfield i meet lester threw dustin and it was dustins dieing wish that lester and me get together if anything happend with me and my ex dustin asked me before he passed away or more a less he told me that he wanted me with nobody eles other then lester so im given dustin his wish i first meet leaster threw bowling and then he added me on facebook afyer meeting me and although it took lester awhile to tell me how he truely felt about me i couldnt ask for someone better

From the time I first lay eyes on her I knew that she was the one. We did things a little un-traditional by having our first child prior to our engagement. She had absolutely no idea what I had intended of our trip.

We took off for a trip to Colorado with our oldest son (of two now) and my mother for a quiet little getaway. After spending the first day around our hotel we decided to do a bit of hiking in the Red Rocks.

Two days prior to our trip we had moved into what we hope will be our forever home. Thus we were going through and decorating this room and that trying to get it feeling a bit more like a home.

As we were talking about the views and enjoying the scenery I said "We should take a picture for our family room together." As we drove around looking for the perfect spot for a picture but I knew exactly what I was looking for.

I spotted what I figured would be beautiful and romantic with the right amount of humor for us to remember our special event forever. I told her that I though she should stand up on a rock which was near the area I picked so that she would be nearly the same height as myself.

Prior to this we were talking about the seven natural wonders of the world and discussed how SOME DAY we would love to visit each one.

As soon as she hopped up on the boulder, I turned her towards me and proceeded to say..."There are seven natural wonders in this world, and I intend to see them all with you, as a matter of fact, the eight wonder of the world would be marrying you."

She started smiling and crying asking what I meant and I pulled the ring out of my pocket.

LUCKILY SHE SAID YES!
